The "Let's Do This" Summer League at Arundel High School got real interesting last night, as a number of teams came out and played real passionate and fun Bball. Among the players to watch the rest of this summer and in the coming year...is Junior Autumn Fields pictured below with incoming Broadneck Freshman Claire Flynn. Fields is a true talent who could have a breakout season this year. She dropped a team high 17 points last night in a losing effort against LV (Mount Hebron). Keep your eyes on Autumn....she is ready to be an Impact Player!

Meade has a new Coach this year....and they are stocking up with some young players who I feel will be around for some years to come! First is Sophomore Tyson Greene, who based upon her play in last nights Summer League loss to LV (Mount Hebron) is going to have a break out season:N ext is Freshman Alexis Sewell....who is a "tweener", PG and SG. In a Guard intensive County like AA County. Keep your eye on this young lady. If she does not play Varsity this year, she will dominate at JV for the Mustangs:

The MYBA "Let's Do This" Summer League completed its 3rd week last night with a nail bitter between the Lightening and Island. The Lightening with players from Meade/Old Mill/Annapolis High Schools defeated players from Kent Island High School by 1! SeRe Miles #14 from Kent Island is an up and coming Sophomore, I think people need to keep a serious look out for this young lady!

I've watched 2-3 gms Miles has played in the Summer League. Improved ball handling, FT shooting and conditioning over the next 3yrs, she could be someone to seriously watch. Just has an "It" factor...VERY aggressive to the hoop with the ability to finish through contact!

I also see that "It" factor and would add that she seldom misses from the free throw line. I have already told the Coach that anytime they play on this side of the bridge I will be there!!
