Southern had a huge bonus in Coach K she is an amazing woman. The first time I saw her in action I was impressed. She takes control of the court. I'm looking forward to what she does with her new crew.

Diddy
Keep the count down going. I will offer my commentary soon. I am more familiar with the teams that we presume will be in the front of the pack. But as Herman Edwards reminds us "that's why we play the game! "

9 Broadneck Lost some senior leadership last year. They are still a solid team but play in the south so wins will difficult to come by. They should get back their pg who tore an acl before the season.

Middle of the Pack
5. Annapolis I think that Annapolis with the addition of key guard Taylor and change in coaching will make a difference they are going to win more games. They have been conditioning all fall and will hopefully have their chemistry together. Taylor had a strong AAU season and that energy should carry over.
6. Arundel I like Arundel and hesitate to put the under Annapolis because it could go either way. Their PG was just MVP in the BBC/Gator Swamp All star game this past weekend and her control of the game was great.
7. North County I saw them a few times in the summer league and they seemed to hang in there but nothing spectacular sets them apart. Not sure if they played in the fall. They do have a guard I know who played AAU this summer and is a gym rat. She's tough and wants to win.
8. Chesapeake As I said before their post player and incoming freshman are going to make a difference. Both the teams they had in the AACC fall league showed up en masse and were playing well together. I think if that cohesion can stay strong they will have 1 or 2 upsets that will bump them up in the leader boards.
