RECRUITING
AAU/CLUB Season has ended. Many of your players have spent the last couple of months traveling across the country and playing in front of college coaches. Some of your players will have many scholarship offers to choose from. Some will have one or two. Sadly, a lot of them will not have any because the schools that they can play at did not get a chance to see them due to the way things are currently set up. A lot of smaller division II and III schools do not have the recruiting budget to go to major events in Kentucky, Atlanta and other places. Some of the events charge those schools up to $400 for the recruiting package. To balance that out I am currently working on an individual showcase for September 30th that will at tract these schools. Some of the DIII schools can offer very good financial packages. I have seen many players receive full rides to DIII schools. I am trying to bring in 30-60 schools for the showcase by charging them $5.00, which is the cost of copying the rosters and player information. This event will not be geared towards the players who are receiving a lot of attention from the D1 schools. We will be looking to identify strong student-athletes with strong academics that can play and may be getting overlooked. Stay tuned for more details.
