Gator, I do not disagree totally with you. We both point out different ways to lead and neither is wrong. I do agree that the team is still young and has a lot more high school basketball left ahead of them. However with this version of 2014/15 OLD MILL PATRIOTS an alpha female steps up and "leads" based on the opponent. Keep in mind the team in future seasons may need that alpha female to get them thru tough times, but not this team. On this team, most players have leadership qualities that has led them this far. You are right to take the next step OLD MILL has to establish a rep outside this county. You will have admit before the last two years OLD MILL was an after thought in the DMV. Now teams around the area have startied to take notice. The girls are learning on the job which I believe is best way to learn. I do believe the disappointment to North Point last year in the Regional Final will help motivate them on this tournament run. I love the back and forth. Keep it going. Gator.... Just in case you forgot!!

Good Luck today Old Mill Ladies.
I'm a SP fan all the time but AAC all the way. Show Maryland we can ball out this way.

Paint branch 70 om 48 Dailey w a nice game. Om first time but this prob will not be their last time back to secu. Great season ladies. There is no joy in Mudtown tonight!! But I would say that both Dailey and Rebecca Lee had great games! I personally think this time around the stage was a little big for certain players....and I hate to say I told you so.....but the 4 for 4 sub thing backfired today. I was sitting across from the Catonsville Coach when the 1st quarter substitutions were made and he immediately called it a mistake. PB pushed out to a 7 point lead at that point and never look back. It should be noted that it actually was 3 for 3 with the subs....because Lee was already down with 2 fouls. I looked at the clock when the subs came in....it was 3:01 of the 1st. The SECU has a big floor and PB likes to run....but she subbed one player at a time and never for a long period....therefore you kept her floor chemistry. OM with its multiple subs did loss its chemistry on more than one occasion. I will also point out something said to me by two other Coaches that were nearby.....why Moses never hit the floor in the 2nd half. PB could not match up size with her....and once they got into foul trouble, she could have been of value. On a night where you only shot 21% from the field, why would you not try a proven 3 pt shooter? OM had 18 turnovers...and were out rebounded...but this had more to do with legs than anything else. OM was clearly suffering later in the game as PB just keep running pass them. But I will also say...good job Lady Patriots....that team was not 20 points better than you, but there was much for you to learn from this, so soak it all in, get back to work and I will see you next year!
